NGO experience

The report "Green Wishes to Standardisation" was published in 2004 by the Danish Society for the Conservation of Nature (one of ECOS member organisations). It presents a mixture of experiences and recommendations concerning NGO participation in standardisation and can be read as a contribution to the debate on transparency in standardisation processes. The report evaluates a four-year pilot project of NGO participation in national and international standardisation. The Danish Society for Conservation of Nature (Danmarks Naturfredningsforening, DN) carried out the project between 2000 and 2004.

The report was written by an independant consultant, Hans Jorgen Brodersen (hjbConsult).
